I also found out recently that the jukebox itself is supposed to be lit up like the moon and the stars. (Photo is about halfway down) http://www.crowngroup.com/RetailPics.html#round
If I had to guess the murals for the other auditoriums:
Auditorium #2 – W.C. Fields
Auditorium #12 – Charlie Chaplin
Auditorium #17 – Either one of the following: Pier, Beach Cottage with Car, or Lighthouse
It leads to a public hallway which connects to the upper level seating for Theaters 15 & 16. I would’ve gotten a picture, except for the fact that there were movies in progress in those two theaters (didn’t want to be accused of sneaking into a film I didn’t pay for). Maybe next time I’ll snap a pic of the hallway.
Theaters 4, 5, & 6 are the new screens which were built sometime in 1997 when East Towne Mall was being renovated into Knoxville Center Mall. The original 4, 5, 6, & 7 became the current 7, 8, 9, & 10.
I have decided to nickname this mural “Aztec Pyramid”.
Number 10 is one of the 200 seat screens like number 9, right?

I believe it is.
Yes it is.
A burnt out mural like this should not be allowed to happen.
It’s cool to see the layout for this theater in detail!
I am currently working on layouts for Hollywood 27, Green Hills, Opry Mills, and a majority of Knoxville’s theaters.

It looks like you were right, andsome96. There is no wall mural in this auditorium.
This theater splits new releases with the nearby Carmike Millertown Pike 10 theater.
Whatever movies are showing here will also be showing at the Carmike Wynnsong 16 theater in West Knoxville.
Likewise, whatever films open at Carmike Millertown 10 will also open at Regal West Town Mall 9 in West Knoxville.
