Hello, I know of a very old theater called Orpheum .It is in New Bedford Ma. I don’t know who ownes it or if it is for sale, but it’s just standing there doing nothing. They have knock everything down around it and sort of made a beginning of a highway in front of it. In other words, you can get on the highway right in front of it. It’s very large and I would love to go in it sometime. My Dad use to go there as a kid.It would be very sad to see it get knocked down.
Hi, I remember the Royal Theater when I was in my teens. I went there one time.It was located up the North end about maybe 3 or 4 miles from the Orpheum Theater, which is located in the South end of New Bedford Ma. The Royal Theater was still open in the early 70’s showing x Rated movies.
