The theater currently is being offered to the Scott Joplin Foundation for year round operations. Details are currently being worked out. The building has some problems and a grant is being worked out to redo the building. As more information is forth coming, I’ll post the details.

I was lucky to enough to locate two great interior shots of the Orpheum. One shows upstairs waiting area and the seats down stairs. The photo appears to be taken from the screen looking up. If anyone is interested, I could probably get copies to these made.
