The National Theatre Richmond ca 1926 - Tom O'Brian proprietor. Changed radically to an art deco style in the 1930s. The original silent screen painted white on the back wall and piano were still behind the sound screen backstage until the 1980s

Fairly certain the interior of The Victory Theatre St Kilda was similar but have not found photos. Victory altered in a major way in 1928 & ironically renamed National in 1972
