I was at this location for the Blue Genie Art Bazaar held every year before christmas. The building is still in tact and there is still a lot of art deco influance throughout the lobby. They leveled the floors in the screening rooms and there is a full servive bar in the lobby area. It look like the space can be rented for small seminars or corp meetings. Pretty cool location, would have been great fro an “art house” type of theater.
It was a record… The riff raff started coming to this theatre, trashed it and the regular patrons were scared off. Can’t have anything nice.
