Part of the More Hotel which at one time had a swimming pool in the basement.

Neat theater, bit run down but with a little elbow greese, could be a jewel for Seattle.

Well, I lived in SeaTac from 1986-1992 and my family until 2004. I’ve seen TONS of movies at Lewis and Clark.. bowled many gutter balls at the bowling alley… good times, even if the theater was a bit run down. It’s sad to see that happen. My mom told me that at one time it was just one large screen but was chopped up into smaller theaters.

They would have to do alot of remodeling/restoration work if they are going to get that theater back and running. If they can’t keep the theater, I’d rather something other than another parking lot be built on the site. Maybe a retail/ residential mixed use complex (as there are no shopping centers to speak of in the area.

I saw ET on this theater when I was a young kid. My very first “drive in” movie.

I’ve been to a couple of the swap meets that are held at the theater and the screen is really run down and an eye sore. It would be neat if Lowe’s could incorporate the old screen into their development. It’s about the only thing remaining of the old “Midway” neighborhood.

I went to a showing of a silent movie complete with oregon music back in 1995. It was a very cool thing and being I was only 20 at the time very unusual.

The theater is Morish in design and I heard at one time, there was a bright light atop the 100ft tower.

Beautiful theater for sure!
