This is like a year in a half later, but at least for kerasotes alto it isn’t a public facility. Its private property. They can kick all of us out because they don’t like our hairstyle and because its private property they can refuse to sell tickets to anyone for any reason.
A new company took over Star Cinemas. Its now Kerasotes. Kerasotes seems to have had some trouble with management quiting. When I was there recently I had some problems with the cleanliness, and when I approached the management about this he was more than willing to help and explained the situation of how they had to hire a lot of new employees and they are still being trained. So some things are overlooked. I got the feeling that this is like starting a brand new theater. Unfortunately its hard to do that when we have been used to the old theater company. I think over time it will be fine. For now we have to bite the bullet.
My mom saw “Jaws” at MM. She said she loved that theater. While I have never been inside the building it does look nice. Dunes doesn’t look as nice, but I’ve never been in there either. The new MC theater I guess its now like 3 years old is cool and I like it. My mom says its not the same as MM, but its still good and its staff very friendly. The management while young seems to be knowledgeable and eager to help.

Also nearby to one of these theaters two brand new movie theaters went up. While they both give kerasotes serious competition there seems to be no sort of pressure to get rid of them.
