The theater has been demolished. An L.A. Fitness club now stands on the property.

The first movie I saw here was Benji in 1974. One of the last movies I had seen here was House of Wax in 2005. This was an awesome theater!

I saw Matinee here in 1993. I also got to see To Die For at this theater in 1995. The Balboa is a great theater!

I saw Grease at this theater in 1978. I also got to see Fast Times at Ridgemont High here in 1982. Finally, I got to see Young Doctors in Love at this theater, also in 1982. I had truly great times at the South Coast!
