@Zappomatic
From my visit on Friday once they’d reopened all the screens, looks like they’ve removed or turned off the red LED strips but retained the logos for screens that had them pre-refurbishment.
Hadn’t visited any of the non premium format screens before they got refurbished, so don’t know which had the LED strips or stars. But from the previous photos of Screen 4 on here, the Stars have not moved but it did previously have the LED strips.
Looks like Screens 3,4,5&6 are planned to reopen from the 10th of October with the opening of Tron: Ares and I Swear. Which completes the upgrade to Laser projection and recliners for all of the screens.
Screen 3 is still the ScreenX screen, with the seating capacity reducing from 221 to 98 (not including wheelchair positions).
Screen 4 reduces from 124 seats to 57 recliners (not including wheelchair positions) copying the layout of Screen 9.
Screen 5 is located directly below Screen 8 and duplicates the layout with the capacity reducing down to 41 seats not including the wheelchair position.
Screen 6 is the same and is located below Screen 7, reducing down to 25 seats (not including the wheelchair position) as with Screen 7.
Screen 2 appears to be coming back into use this week after it’s refurbishment to add the new “best seat on the planet” recliners. With the capacity falling from 268 seats to 118 seats not including wheelchair positions.
Watford appears to be the first of the Cineworld’s to recieve their new style recliners.
There’s some info on them at https://www.cineworld.co.uk/static/en/uk/experience/recliners
The schedules for the first week since the announcement only show them using Screens 1(IMAX),7,8&9. With Screens 2-6 out of use, assuming while the recliners are installed into the rest of the screens.
Looking at the seating plans for Screens 7-9, the capacities have been reduced.
With Screen 7 going down to 25, Screen 8 to 41 and Screen 9 to 57. Not including the wheelchair positions.
