Travelled past this on Mon 20/3/23. Sadly no longer being used. As stated previously the last tenants had to quit. Plans have been submitted for redevelopment (with the front facade only being retained). See https://www.maddoxplanning.com/urmston
As sl1981 say’s the venue is still called Heaven. G-A-Y is a weekly series of “nights” held at the venue as it’s owned by the same person who own’s G-A-Y Bar, G-A-Y Late and G-A-Y Manchester, under the G-A-Y Group.
The Gallery was a fantastic option to pick if you wanted a more “luxury” option. However in my opinion (something I pointed out to Odeon) it was cheapened in it’s quality when then stopped offering despensed soft drinks and offered a bottle instead!
I remember the fragment of the building for many years! and if you look at the 1st Flickr link from Ian in 2009 I remember Starship Enterprises (I think a Games Arcade) for many years as well.

Went past this recently in my car. Had to ask a friend to remember it’s location. Looked stunning from the outside.
