I remember the GCC well….saw some great 80’s classics in that theatre. Movies seemed better when I was young…today they just seem boring. I will definitely check out that GCC sign and see if it’s still there near the railroad tracks. I was thinking it was closer to the corner entrance. (BofA there now at that corner.)Once the new shopping center opened on the opposite side of 249 that was the nail in the coffin for all the nearby theatres. The commons AMC across the street was a cool place to watch them too. You never know what you have until you miss it…the good ol' days…:)
