When Greenwall’s Opera House suffered damage, a new facility funded by J.T. Byers was the new home for Greenwall’s live circuit. When the Byers became the Palace, it would switch to film-only presentations. When the Palace was knocked down in May of 1977, the original Greenwall’s Opera House call board moved from the 19th Century theater was discovered within the end-of-life Palace.
