One of my top ten favorite pictures of the Columbia Theatre in Phoenix is this one from 1919 where manager Frank Kennan (left) is visited by the then Arizona Governor Thomas E. Campbell (right). “The World Aflame” was showing and the Governor asked Mr. Keenan to take the print and show it to prisoners in the State Penitentiary. Keenan did just that.
