The Picturedrome converted into two houses, before the projection box was removed and the second house extended. (Scan from “Bedfordshire Cinemas”, by G. C. Peck, published in 1981. This photograph had been provided by Mr D. Bidwell who, I hope, will forgive me using it here, but it is important in explaining how the current houses have evolved. I have set the most restrictive licence for this photograph.)
