September 1997. The Cosy can just be seen, set back from the road. The building in front of it, Austins Funeral Directors in 2009, was a small fire station which had been built in 1931. This, of course, obscured the view of the cinema, which had a rely on a poster outside the sweet shop on the other side of the road!
