The current Windham Town Hall building in Hensonville was originally Smalley’s Theatre. The Methodist Episcopal Church, now Fitness Concepts, can be seen in the background.

He owned 23 movie theaters in New York State including ones located in Camden, Cooperstown, Delhi, Dolgeville, Downsville, Fort Plain, Hensonville, Johnstown, Norwich, Sharon Springs, Sidney, St. Johnsville, Stamford, and Walton.
