Artisan’s Collective. A place for Dallas area Artist. Open. Located at 410 N Bishop Ave in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas Tx. Open… artisanscollective.net/ ……….. +Originally, this was the Rialto Theatre, opening in 1919. The name was changed to the Bishop Avenue Theatre sometime around 1933. Then in 1934, it was remodeled & the name was again changed to the Astor Theatre. Closing its doors around 1950, the building has sat idle at times & also has been several different retail type business'.+
Today, there is no sign of it ever being a Theatre… But the structure, along with the rest of the Bishop Arts area, has been beautifully renovated &/Or Remodeled & is now a popular area in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas Texas…. lka - Later Known As Photo posted here Courtesy of Randy A Carlisle - RAC Photography RAC Photography
