3 out of 4 ticket machines don’t work, and the one one that does often runs out of paper for the ticket or receipt. You can take the elevator or escalator down to the theater, but the escalator is often out of order so you have to walk down the escalator or take the elevator. There are no stairs. There is no indoor box office, only outdoor. The marquee is out of order and does not list any movies playing. The outdoor box office does list movies playing behind at the ticket seller, but it is on the far wall and hard to see the listings all at once. The theater does not face the street, so you don’t see it unless you are looking for it. If it faced the street they might get more customers who were walking by. It is right next to a huge construction project for the purple line so you can only access it by foot. Althought there have bene many other movie theaters in downtown Bethesda over the years, ths is currently the only one. Montgomery Mall has a large theater, but inaccessible by metro and much less convenient because you go through the mall to get there.
