The entrance to the Grove Open Air Theatre Yarrawonga. New Facade 1950’s
The previous open air theatre has been re-designed so that it will have all the advantages of a drive in theatre with the added advantages that patrons will not have to be car owners to enter the show. Patrons will walk in through a lovely avenue of flowering jacarandas and Queensland fire-wheel trees. Spacious lawns adorn the entrance. The floor of the theatre is sealed and graded. and the seating is made up of Tier-stack, multiple units, canvas deck-chairs and garden seats. Patrons will enjoy sitting under the stars, smoking is permitted, and they will view the movie on a massive CinemaScope screen … Photo courtesy of Alex & Ann Sloane – Contributed by Greg Lynch –
