Sunset Beach Drive In Concession Stand after Flood July 7, 1983
Sunset Beach Drive-In Theater suffered several major floods over the years. Mr. Rach said the worst flood occurred in 1983.
Pictures show that Buffalo Creek overran its banks to the point that waters covered the speakers for cars in the last few rows. The picnic areas at the park suffered loss of picnic tables, as well as dealing with left-over mud.
