Located on the east side of Bates Street between Coronation Street and Mitchell Street.

The Cummins Theatre opened on 4th October 1928.

The first talkies were screened on 4th November 1929. The Cummins Theatre closed in 1973 and reopened after being restored in 1992. Cummins Theatre closed in 1997. Cummins Theatre reopened in 2002. Cummins Theatre still shows films, but is mainly just a live theatre - Notes by David Coppock.
