St.Georges Theatre Yarraville opened in 1891 and was then called the Murray Street Hall and the name was changed in 1913 and it was then called the St.Georges Theatre.

The Theatre was closed in 1959 and in 1960 it became the UDC Ballroom which continued until the Mid 2000’s.

In 2010 the building was being converted into an apartment building.
