I can remember going to this theater and seeing one of the best movies never to win an oscar. that movie being “The Shawshank Redemption”. if I remember the theater may have only been ¼ full..saw many other movies there too, but cant remember which ones,
When this theater was opened , was my favorite one,, Loved the THX theater, with it’s curtain that would open.. always remember it being very clean auditoriums.
when my family lived in the city I can remember going to this theater with my older brother. We took the bus, from where we lived. walked over to the theater and saw my first James Bond movie which was “Diamonds Are Forever”. I must of been about 8 years old , My brother about 16….
