The photo in American Classic Images is the old Fox Theater in Corning, NY. The theater was located on the south side of Denison Parkway (changed from Erie Avenue around 1951) near the corner of Pine Street. I grew up in Corning 1949-1972 and went to the Fox many, many times. I think the building was originally the Corning Opera House. There was a second theater called The Palace on the north side of town on Bridge Street in the 50s and early 60s.
