Mezzanine Promenade, Colorado Theatre, Denver, 1922
The rebuilding of the Tabor Grand Opera House as the Colorado Theatre in 1921-1922 gave architects Fisher & Fisher the opportunity to create this spacious promenade on the mezzanine level overlooking the main foyer. It was flanked by men’s and women’s lounges, and a large domed opening in the center gave a view of the seats on the orchestra floor below.
