Auditorium portion of the Santa Cruz exterior, taken early or mid 1990s. In this view, the structural concrete wall to the left, along the alley, would be the auditorium sidewall, and the stuccoed facade on the right would be the rear wall of the auditorium. The angular decorative roofline dates from its theater years, while the second story windows are from its conversion into office and retail. Originally this wall had a large decorative medallion type false window about where the middle second story window is now.

Time to re do the space and bring the theatre back to life!! Has this ever been done before? After a second floor was put in and stores in the downstairs and offices up stairs. Build the nice marquee again out front. It will cost big money these days. Same with the old Burl Theatre in nearby Boulder Creek CA.
