We really need to protect our landmarks better.
A lot of old theaters around the country have either been closed or met with a worse fate.
Some of these theaters were classics!
The Ziegfeld not only belongs here, but it fits in well with everything around it.
I agree with Rubi.
Thank you.
George Vreeland Hill.
This is a gem.
There is nothing like the Egyptian Theatre.
This goes back to the days when theaters were art forms!
It went through many changes over the years, and very few of them were good changes.
The Egyptian Theatre was neglected and changed for far too many years.
At one time,(even in the 1960’s) it was too new to be treasured, and very recently was thought to be too old to be like it was.
Now, it is a part of the history of Hollywood that we want to keep!!
Thank you.

I grew up in Suffern, and the Lafayette Theatre is like a home to me.
My mother remembers the early days of the Lafayette, and talks of those days often.
I hope to return very soon.
The Lafayette Theatre is located at Route 59 and Washington Ave.
Thank you.
George Vreeland Hill.
This is great news, but I hope they keep it as original as possible.
I will try to make it.

Yea, this was a great place in the 1960’s.
We should never have let a place like this go.
Today, it is a lot.
George Vreeland Hill.
Great to see that this is still around.

The Alameda Theatre sure had fans at one time.
