I purchased and removed the above mentioned WurliTzer organ from this Palace Theater, along with several others of note, and took it to Louisville, KY. If anyone would like to hear more about it, feel free to e.mail me at
Whoa! Stop! BIG ERROR! The organ I was referring to in the above posting was the Palace Theater, not the RKO Paramount Theater. Again, if anyone would like to contact me about this organ, feel free to e.mail me at
I am a little confused about the post in 2006 stating that the Paramount organ was “rescued” and “moved to a private residence”. My brother and I purchased that organ and removed it to Louisville, KY, where we sold it out piece-meal. Anyone who wants to contact me in this regard can do so at
According to the date on the last post, this is not a particularly popular site. I have particular interest in the Tower Theater because I purchased and removed to Louisville, Kentucky, the 4/20 Publix WurliTzer pipe organ from that theater. Three of the cut glass chandeliers from the inner lobby of that theater hang in my home and my brother’s home, even as I write, and two more of them are in rough storage in my basement. If anyone would like to know anything about this organ, I would be happy to correspond. Gorham
Did this Enright Theater have an organ? I looked at the organ in a theater in a Pittsburgh neighborhood in the 1960’s but bought the 3/27 Wurlitzer that was in the Stanley at the same time. I can’t find anything about the Stanley or the Stanley organ pre-1970. Can anyone help or direct me to some internet data on the Stanley, pre-1970? Thanks everyone.

I purchased and removed the Wurlitzer from the Luna Theater many, many years ago. It was mostly destroyed by vandals by the time I got there.
