Burnside Drive-In. Kodachrome taken by Albert S. “Al” Johnson on opening day in June 1951. Al’s Johnson Construction Company built the Burnside.
This view shows a view of the large mural on the street-side of the screen tower of a pheasant rising from a field. Burnside is just north of Imlay City in Michigan’s “Thumb”- an area that was known for upland game hunting.
