Pavilion Picture Theatre
This photo, from around 1910, catches the long-gone town-centre end of Church Street. Reading from the right there is: the Well Hall Hotel; then the Pavilion Rink. It has a vaguely-Gothic facade and is in line with the buildings on either side.
This perspective is, near enough, the reverse view of that in the streetview. To get a fix on the location of this view, the clock on Burnley Town Hall on Manchester Road can be seen in the distance.
This 1910 stretch of Church Street is now, roughly, the line of the pedestrianised Kierby Walk.
