It’s probably the nicest theater in all of Westchester.
Please update. This movie theater has reopened under new ownership, as Westbrook Cinemas.
It was replaced by a new 16 screen theater in 2006.
The cinema number converted into Imax (according to Google images), is #2.
It was taken over by Loews soon after it opened. Now it’s an AMC.
The old theater was built between the Nissan dealership and the Chick Fil A, if you look on Google Maps. That’s how they were able to replace it so quickly.
It’s now an extension to the nearby Party City. The Alamo Drafthouse is nearby, as is the Showcase in Ridgehill.
The theater closed due to competition from modern multiplexes, namely what is now Cinemark Hazlet. A Target now occupies the site.
