The genious in Blair Witch was the pre-release marketing. I remember the hype that led up it. I thought it was great, but you have to watch it in the context that it was intended. The acting was very good and was believable if you look at it from what they were trying to do. It is still one of my favorite horror flicks.

How did it get demolished if it is on the national register of historic places?
The marqee is, but the verticle is gone.
Has anything happened with this theater. It looks like the pictures on the web site haven’t been updated in a while.
The Daisy in Memphis is (I believe) a reverse.
I hate admit to seeing this, but this theater’s exterior, lobby, and auditorium is in the movie “Alvin and the Chipmonks”.
