I have many great memories of the Coyle from my high school days at Mon Valley Catholic. It was great when they reopened the balcony in the late 1980’s. How can I get involved with the group that’s trying to restore it?
I attended the premiere of “Land of the Dead” at the Byham last night. The house was packed with Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez and of course George A. Romero in attendance. It was a great thrill watching the movie on a big screen in a grand old theater. Can’t wait for the Summer Film Series in August.
What was the last film to play at the Warner?
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The theater has been sold to the Wheeling Visitors Bureau and will be brought up to code. Great News.

Correction. Building was demolished in the late 1980’s to make way for a new bridge into Bentleyville.
There was also a Manos in downtown Uniontown, PA which was demolished in the mid 80’s. I saw my first movie there in 1975.
