LuisV, no need for theaters in Lake George with Glenns Falls only a few miles away. I remember the Lake, saw PT 109 there. Somebody turned it into a bar back in the 80’s for a while, now they got rid of the facade and its a t-shirt shop.
I remember back in the mid seventies going to see shows with the woman who’d become my wife of 36 years. I wasn’t from Flemington, but she grew up in Branchburg, really sad its gone. The Theater’s gone and so are many dear friends from Flemington, dang I hate growing old.
I’ve heard RPI is restoring Proctor’s theater and I really hope so. First theater my parent let me go by myself when i was ten. I saw Three World’s of Gulliver and Disney’s “Nicky Wild dog of the North”. Stayed all day.

Does anybody remember the Saratoga Drive-in which once existed across the street from the Latham back in the 50s?
