Lots of memories here. The first movie I remember seeing at North Oaks was STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN with my dad in June 1982. I was taken by my mom to see TRAIL OF THE PINK PANTHER in December 1982, BLUE THUNDER (June 1983) and INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM (May 1984) by my aunt, and TRON (July 1982) by my dad. Most of my street came to see BEVERLY HILLS COP in December 1984. They had a handful of arcade games in the lobby, including a trivia video game we were both obsessed with. This theater was and is in a “lost” mall. In the 1980s, it included a B. Dalton Booksellers, Aladdin’s Castle arcade and a Target, but not much else. The last time I saw a movie here was with my high school girlfriend to see SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY in February 1991.
