I was thrown by the fact that the Regal is shown on the map as being much further away from Ashton Old Road than it actually was, it was almost at the junction with AoR and almost next to the Alhambra.
The building was not demolished and still exists today though in an almost unrecognisable state. It is on the corner of Cornbrook Street and Carriage Street. The Cornbrook Street facade has been clad in metal panels.
There are a couple of photos at https://apps.trafford.gov.uk/TraffordLifetimes/ but I can’t link directly to them. A search for Cornbrook Street will find them. It is easy to locate the Globe on the aerial photo as the name is painted on the roof.
The Roy was between Royal Street and Eldon Street to the east of Rylance Street.
I am dubious about the photograph.

That’s very likely Durhamdown. I’ve never seen a cinema with so many roof lights!
