The Grand Theater was located at 212 Dexter Ave (not Bibb St). In 1945 when I was a 13 year old student at Starke University School a schoolmate and I entered the vacant Theater building through an open second story window. It was was all in the fun of exploring a spooky old abandoned building. After a short time we left with a few brass plate seat numbers as keep sakes. The Montgomery City directory of 1937 listed an open Theater but the 1939 Directory listed 212 Dextwer Ave as a vacant building. Seems it closed in 1938.
