Far End Main Lobby
This is the far end of the main lobby. The open double doors on the left lead to house #2. The closed door to the left of the mirrors lead to the projection booth. The closed door to the right lead to the meter/break room.
The wall of mirrors had tiles which were about 1 foot by 3 feet and were diamond shaped. Similar mirrored walls existed in the outer lobby, behind the original concessions stand and behind a water fountain that was between the lavatory doors.
This created the effect of “looking through diamonds”.
This was also the case if you looked over the benches in the main lobby that were there before the concession island. These diamond shapes were created with twisted stainless steel rods and were highlighted by lights in the ceiling.
