Design is almost identical to the old Odeon building in Newport, S.Wales seen here:

currently being used as a church, give or take the positioning of a few windows & doors.
City Cinema WILL close in January ‘08.
Rumour has it that the cinema will close in January 2008, with the landlord having plans to redevelop the building, sadly ending the long history of film & theatre at this site.
