I had the great fortune of entering this theater this week when the owner suddenly opened the side door from inside the hardware store next door. It had been about 60 years since I’d seen it and I’d remembered nothing until the great “S” popped back into my memory. This was truly an extreme memory trip and it was all I could do to leave. This jewel of a town needs a thousand people to bring fortunes to embellish and re-populate it, and it’s theater,in its quiet glory. I’ve tried to post four photos and hope it works.
