This may have been the movie house I saw a Melvin Van Peebles film called “Don’t Play Us Cheap”. I couldn’t remember the theater until a saw the exterior photo. Thanks CSWalczak
I’m glad to see the old building still standing. Havn’t stepped inside since 1968.
I attended an opening stage act presented by Roberta Flack for singing artist Wayne Davis there in 1972. I never knew it was a movie theater.
I remember going to this theater in 1977/1978 to watch the original Star Wars. Can someone tell me if that movie played there for over 54 weeks?
