the demo of the 6-9 is underway the snakebar has been cleaned out and they got to the end of may to pull down the screens. the screens were offered for free around the drive-in circuit but there were no takers.
most of these links no longer work and one picture was deleted come on people if your gonna post links make sure it stays valid. Thank you national amusements for ruining another theater
Rumor has it that National Amusement has leased their two theaters in Michigan (and 30 in the US) to a Texas based Theater company. They are looking at the possibility of reopening the Miracle Twin Drive In, which can be fully operational with some minor work since all the equipment is still in place.
something i thought about. what would make this theater even better is to rebuild the original screen. dig up the blue prints and rebuild it. FYI the original screen burned down.
the drive in will remain open for another 5 years. the theater has been leased to a company who plans to overhaul the theater which includes adding 2 more screens to bring the count up to 4. it opens may 8th and will remain open through October.
when the owner passed away the daughter wanted to keep it open but the sons wanted to sell it. the owner of the ford wyoming tried in vain to buy the drive in but the sons wanted too much money.
this could be its last year of operation. the owner suffered a massive heart attack he survived but is incapacitated. sense he does all the up-keep and maintenance himself this could be its last year of service. please support this drive in while you can.
National amusements needs to be shut down and taken over they have no clue how to run movie theaters
I guess they changed the name due to the failed 6-9 side. Wonder if they will yank the Wyoming letters of the main screen towers and the marquee
