I started going to the Ukiah Theatre in the early sixties. My Dad took me to see Hatari when I was 5 or 6. During summer vacation they would have a free wednesday matinees, and every kid in Ukiah and the surrounding area would be there. In the late sixties I could buy a theatre ticket for 35 cents, and get a Jolly Rancher stick for a nickel. Times have sure changed…. Mike McInerney
