I went to this theater a few times when I was a kid. It cost 20c for kids and 50c for adults. It was clean inside and had a little better clientele than the El Rancho which was directly across the street. I never went to it after the name was changed in 1962 to Cinema 63.
My mom took me to this theater a couple times before it was demolished. It became my favorite theater in Spokane. It was beautiful inside and looked similar to the State and Fox Theaters, but wasn’t crowded inside as those two were. Was a sad day when the Orpheum was torn down.
