Years ago this used to be a very quaint theatre to visit. Now it is in total disrepair. The ceilings are peeling, with holes in them. It smells like mold and very uncared for. It was also condemed this year until the owner agreed to make some repairs in the amount of around $10,000. That won’t even pay for cleaning!!! This could be such a beautiful, historic place to visit. All I can say is “what a shame”. Cannot understand why the “Black Bear Film” supporters would even think of using it in the shape it is in. Historic does not mean “old and moldy and completely rundown”. Milford is a wonderful town for its residents and visitors. Something should be done.
