The Auditorium Theater And Stanley Theatre circa 1928. The building next door to the Auditorium was previously known as the New Academy Hotel taken from the Academy of music before the Academy of music was torn down in 1927 to build the Stanley on the same site,the New Academy Hotel became the Stanley Hotel then later on it became the Stanley Bar and lastly The Bottoms Up Nightclub. The building next to the Stanley is the Western High School building previously known as Baltimore City College, now today it occupies the Chesapeake Commons Apartments.
