For those of you “Woodhavenites” that are interested go onto Facebook and there is a Woodhaven group. It’s great! What a walk down Memory Lane. Come and chat for a while.
Hey Peter,
I also saw the “Towering Inferno” at the Haven. My parents took the 4 of us for a family movie night and my best friend (Gary Umstetter) parents took them also. I was very disappointed and sad when they closed the HAVEN.
Hey!
I was born and raised in Woodhaven. I remember going to see every movie at the HAVEN form “The Night of the Living Dead” to “Zombies” to the “Poseidon Adventure” to “Grease.” Anthony Iervolino was the manager back then. My friends and I use to go every week end from the mid-seventies to the last week end movie that they showed. Hey does anyone remember a family by the last name of Streib? If so please let me know. Thanks.
