This June 17, 1991 photo by Jim Argo was used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: “Third-generation movie-house owner, Marsh Powell, sells tickets in front of the Beacon drive-in Theatre.”
I found the photo at the Oklahoma Historical Society web site. I upload it here for the scholarly Fair Use of illustrating the colors of the neon on the Beacon’s screen tower. I have no personal interest in the photo, but I suspect it may still be under copyright.
