The overview says the Paris Theater was “Opened in October 9, 1944 as the Azeca [sic] Theater screening Mexican movies.” This is incorrect, they are two different theaters. The Aztec Theater was across the street from what would later become the Paris and was located at 306 E. Washington Street (on the north side of Washington), not at 315 E. Washington (on the south side of Washington). I will post a better picture of the Azteca in the Photo section, it is clearly a different building. Should probably have its own listing on Cinema Treasures, it has an interesting history of its own.
