The Midway had rats in the 60’s. You could see them running down the aisles when the picture was on. We always put our feet up the chair in front of us.
Watched a bunch of first run movies here in the 60’s.Francis the talking mule was my favorite!!!
The most lavish theater in central Camden. Matched the Walt Whitman with its beautiful carpets, chandeliers, and balcony railings.
This was part of my paper route. Vine street would be the correct address. Pearl street was over by bridge.
Walked past the ELM everyday going to school. It was closed by the 60’s. Most narrow theater I have ever seen it was only about 30 feet wide.
